One of my hobbies is filming. In my films, music often plays a big role, so if there is music in a film, you will often find it cut to the beat.
Freiheit (Shortfilm, 2010)
In May 2010 I flew to Austria for a four day long ski trip. The flight was in the evening, just before sunset, so the sun was already about to touch the clouds. The landscape and the clouds were illuminated in a very soft and warm light, producing a very special and romantic athmosphere. If you’re on the top of the clouds, having this picturesque view, you sense happiness and freedom. I tried to catch this athmosphere. Freiheit is german and means freedom.

Walchen 2010 (Shortfilm, 2010)
During the last day of my skiing vacation to Walchen/Piesendorf in Austria in April 2010 I shot this little film.
high speed videos (Shortfilm, 2008)
During our physic lessons in 2008 two friends and I had the opportunity of working with a high speed video camera (Weinberger MiniVis Eco). After getting used to the camera (which was quite challenging as it is not supposed to be a camera for high quaity pictures, more for scientific work) we started experimenting. I edited the shots we did later on to a small film in which the pictures match the music. The movie portraits fire and water as the two contradicting elements.

I shot this film during my easter ski trip in 2008 to Walchen/Piesendorf in Austria. Lots of snow, lots of fun.
